A typical wine of the Tuscan tradition, obtained with the typical Chianti vines: Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia del Chianti.
The carefully selected grapes in the vineyard are left to dry on the characteristic “cannicci”, in the farm lofts for about four months. Then, they are squeezed and left to ferment and refine in small oak barrels (“caratelli”) for at least four years. The wine has an amber-yellow color with an ethereal and intense aroma, with hints of raisin, dried fig and almond, that produce a harmonious and balanced flavor. It is an after meal wine, good in accompaniment with dry pastries and pies, also excellent with medium-aged cheeses.
